Culver City Firefighter Dies
On Monday evening September 4th off-duty Culver City Firefighter,
Chuck Baird suffered fatal injuries when his motorcycle crashed in
Culver City. Chuck was an active member of the Culver City Fire
Department for 12 years; beginning his career as a Firefighter in
1994, then advancing to the position of Paramedic/Firefighter in
1997, a post that he held until his death.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 12, at
Veteran's Memorial Auditorium in Culver City, followed by a funeral
procession to Holy Cross Cemetery, also in Culver City.

Chuck is survived by his wife and three sons, aged 24, 18, and 14
years-old, his mother and a sister. In lieu of flowers, donations
may be made to the
